Wintec in South Africa have released a great range of flat pack ply wood furniture.
The really interesting part of the design is that it appears to use CNC process to cut into the plywood, making a solid board “flexible.” A rubber filament is then injected into the grooves for strength and flexibility.
The result is a range of chairs that are solid, comfortable and have the flexibility of paper scultpures
